City Island Pizza Company

North of the city and east into the river is the City Island Pizza Company which I captured for The Infatuation. With it’s somewhat nautical themed design, and core selection of red-sauce pizza joints, CIPC delivers a unique experience in an island overrun with fish fries.

Massara

From chef Stefano Secchi of Rezdora comes a new Southern Italian kitchen, Massara. Featuring a wood fired grill and pizza oven, the restaurant serves grilled entrees, and a slew of pastas and pizzas.

Lucia Pizza

Eater NY did a multi-faceted piece on how TikTok effects the restaurant industry and one of the restaurants featured, was Brooklyn’s Lucia Pizza. The assignment included shooting, not only the food but the kitchen process, and most importantly the owner’s relationship with TikTok and his use of it in the kitchen.

The Independent

The Independent is a midtown-gastropub owned by The Stout Hospitality group. As one might imagine, in addition to all sorts of elevated bar-fare, the restaurant is known for their mixology and beer selection. These photos were taken for The Stout Hospitality Group for the marketing of The Independent.

Macchina

What once was a pizza pop-up is now a permanent fixture in the back space of The Bedford, Macchina serves delicious pizzas and wonderful cocktails in a charmingly rustic space. I photographed the interiors and drinks for the space and there’s a warm charm in the space that I attempted to capture.
